About Lionlight.Systems
Our story
Lionlight Systems was founded on one observation: the most important operational knowledge inside a business is never written down, and automation built without it fails in production. So we start by capturing how your operation actually works, then build automation on that foundation, in your stack, with your team.
What we believe
Automation should make your team faster, not dependent on a vendor. We stay vendor-agnostic because our clients' long-term operational autonomy matters more to us than selling a platform license. When we finish an engagement, you own the solution, the credentials, and the operating knowledge behind it.
Who you work with
Lionlight Systems is two people, and you work with both of them.
Tannen Skriver
Discovery and process design. He sits with your team, maps how the work actually moves, and scopes what is worth building before anything gets built.
Jay Looney
Engineering. Seven years in industrial cybersecurity and telecom as a Linux systems administrator, then a senior software engineer, then a senior data engineer, on top of six years contracting. He has automated infrastructure across 10,000 Linux nodes, cut latency across more than 500 scheduled data pipelines to save four hours a day of runtime, and remediated a software licensing overage worth $500,000 a month.
We stay close to the work, pair directly with client teams, and treat documentation and handover as part of the build, not an afterthought.
Find out what automation is worth to your business.
A 30-minute call about one process in your operation. We want to understand how the work actually moves, where it stalls, and what that costs you. If there is something worth mapping properly, we will say so. If there is not, we will say that too.
